# WanLiYan CEO Liu Sang: We need to develop the domestic instrument ecosystem and break the "path dependence."

He pointed out that the entire process from scientific research to R&D manufacturing to application is crucial, and he is full of confidence in the domestic industrial chain. WanLiYan showcased a new generation of ultra-high-speed real-time oscilloscopes, with a bandwidth exceeding 90GHz, suitable for semiconductor, 6G communication, and other fields

On October 17th, at the 2025 Bay Area Semiconductor Industry Ecological Expo held in Shenzhen, Liu Sang, CEO of WanLiYan, a subsidiary of Xinkailai, told Securities Times reporters: "For equipment like instruments, with Western manufacturers long occupying the mainstream market in China, we need to develop the ecosystem for domestic instruments. From the early-stage research to the entire R&D manufacturing and finally to the application, the whole process is extremely important. We must break the original path dependence and psychological dependence, and have full confidence in the domestic industrial chain." It is understood that WanLiYan showcased its new generation of ultra-high-speed real-time oscilloscopes at this expo, with a bandwidth exceeding 90GHz, which has broad application prospects in fields such as semiconductors, 6G communication, optical communication, and intelligent driving
