# Shanghai Futures Exchange: Notice on Adjusting the Margin Ratio and Price Limits for Gold and Silver Futures Trading

> On October 17th, Jinshi Futures reported that the Shanghai Futures Exchange notified relevant units: After research and decision, starting from the settlement at the close on October 21, 2025, the trading margin ratio and the price limit adjustment are as follows: The price limit for gold and silver futures contracts will be adjusted to 14%, the margin ratio for hedging positions will be adjusted to 15%, and the margin ratio for general positions will be adjusted to 16%
