# Central New Energy and Jilin Huajin have reached a strategic cooperation to jointly promote green methanol and new energy projects

> CENTRAL NEW EGY and Jilin Huajin have reached a strategic cooperation to jointly promote green methanol and new energy projects. According to the agreement, the Innovation Research Institute of CENTRAL NEW EGY will leverage its advantages in chemical methanol, project investment, photovoltaic modules, and energy storage systems to support the project construction of Jilin Huajin. The board believes that this cooperation will expand business opportunities, increase revenue sources, and enhance financial performance, benefiting the group's future development

According to the announcement from Zhonghuan New Energy (01735), on October 16, 2025, Jilin Huajin Energy Co., Ltd. and the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Zhonghuan New Energy Innovation Research Institute Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Under this agreement, the parties intend to establish a strategic partnership, whereby Zhonghuan New Energy Innovation will leverage its advantages in chemical methanol, project investment, green electricity photovoltaic component supply, and energy storage system supply to support Jilin Huajin in building green methanol and related new energy projects.

The board of directors believes that the cooperation framework outlined in this agreement will enable the group to utilize its experience and capabilities in the development and operation of new energy projects. The board also believes that this cooperation can expand the group's business opportunities, broaden its sources of income, and enhance its financial performance. Therefore, the board believes that the collaboration with Jilin Huajin will be beneficial for the group's future development and will align with the overall interests of the company and its shareholders
