# The credit market is filled with "thunder," and the "shadow" of the American banking crisis reappears

Recently, the turmoil among U.S. regional banks has resurfaced. Zions Bancorp and Western Alliance Bancorp disclosed that they encountered fraud while providing loans to funds investing in troubled commercial mortgages. As a result, the stock prices of both banks plummeted, and the U.S. banking sector collectively declined. Coupled with the recent bankruptcies of auto parts manufacturer First Brands and subprime auto lender Tricolor, the overall health of the U.S. credit market has become a focal point for the market.
