# Wang Teng is considering starting his own business after being dismissed by Xiaomi

> Xiaomi's former General Manager of the China Marketing Department, Wang Teng, was dismissed for leaking information and is now considering starting a business. Wang Teng retweeted a post about the Redmi phone on Weibo, expressing his anticipation for the new product and responding to netizens' support by stating that the company will operate normally. He mentioned that he is considering some entrepreneurial projects and trying new challenges

Wang Teng, the former general manager of Xiaomi's China marketing department, was dismissed in September this year due to a leak. On October 17, Wang Teng retweeted the official post of Redmi mobile on Weibo and stated: "K90 Pro Max, the strongest K series in history, the product research and development team has put in a lot of effort to create it, worth looking forward to. I wish a smooth launch next week, Da Mai!" In the comments section, some netizens said, "Redmi feels a bit lacking without General Teng," to which Wang Teng responded, "The company will operate normally without anyone, please continue to support REDMI." In addition, Wang Teng mentioned that he is currently "considering some entrepreneurial projects and trying new challenges."
