# NIO's Li Bin latest internal speech: Fourth quarter profitability relies on "selling more cars" rather than "cutting costs"

> On October 17th, Nio founder, chairman, and CEO Li Bin stated in an internal meeting aimed at mid-to-senior level personnel that achieving profitability in the fourth quarter this year is a must. Li Bin believes that the prerequisites for fourth-quarter profitability are the company’s success in the following three areas: first, effective marketing of key models; second, ensuring supply chain stability and cost reduction; third, timely delivery of high-quality software versions.
