# The Half-Day Express reports that the Hang Seng Index rose by 607 points; the Hang Seng Tech Index increased by 184 points. Alibaba rose by over 4%, Tencent by over 3%. China Eastern Airlines, COSCO Shipping Energy, Air China, China Southern Airlines, and Dah Sing Bank reached new highs

> The Hang Seng Index closed at 25,854 points, up 607 points or 2.4%. The Hang Seng Tech Index reported 5,945 points, up 184 points or 3.2%. Alibaba rose over 4%, and Tencent rose over 3%. Other active stocks such as Xiaomi, Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and Meituan also saw varying degrees of increase. Several constituent stocks performed strongly, with NetEase, Sands, and Shenzhou all rising more than 4%

The Hang Seng Index closed at 25,854 points, up 607 points or 2.4%. The Hang Seng Tech Index reported 5,945 points, up 184 points or 3.2%. The National Index rose 221 points or 2.5%, closing at 9,233 points.
