# The world's first methanol-electric dual-purpose vessel sets sail in Shanghai

> The inaugural ceremony of the world's first methanol electric dual-purpose vessel "Yuanchun 001" was successfully held at the Luodong Container Terminal in Shanghai Port. The vessel is equipped with an advanced power system, featuring 2 sets of 280 kW methanol generator units and 2 sets of 258 kWh lithium battery packs, which achieve grid connection through DC bus frequency conversion and control equipment, driving 2 sets of 150 kW propulsion motors
