Gold and silver mining stocks generally rose, following the performance of the U.S. stock market, with GAU up 5.7%, THM up 5%, Coeur Mining up 4.4%, Newmont up 3.5%, Hecla Mining up 3.3%, Barrick Mining up 3%, Pan American Silver up 2.6%, the Gold Miners Index ETF up 2.6%, and the gold ETF up 2.5%
