# Pizza Hut UK goes bankrupt, will close 68 restaurants and lay off over 1,200 employees

> After entering bankruptcy administration, Pizza Hut UK will close 68 restaurants and 11 delivery points, resulting in the loss of 1,210 jobs. Pizza Hut's parent company Yum! Brands has agreed to save the remaining 64 Pizza Hut UK restaurants and retain the remaining 1,276 job opportunities. Nicolas Burquier, Managing Director of International Operations at Yum! Brands, stated that the priority is to ensure that the acquired locations can continue to operate and provide support to employees during the transition period

After entering bankruptcy administration, Pizza Hut UK will close 68 restaurants and 11 takeaway points, resulting in the loss of 1,210 jobs.

Pizza Hut's parent company Yum! Brands (YUM.US) has agreed to save the remaining 64 Pizza Hut UK restaurants and retain the remaining 1,276 job opportunities.
