# Amazon stated that its AWS cloud services have returned to normal operation after the outage

Amazon Web Services, the world's largest cloud service provider, announced that the outage lasting about 15 hours that occurred on Monday has been resolved, highlighting how much of the internet relies on the operations of a single company.

In an update report on the health of its services, this division of Amazon stated that its services "returned to normal operation at around 6 PM Eastern Time."

The outage was caused by database network issues, which led to disruptions for hundreds of websites and applications, including Venmo, Robinhood Markets, and Apple Music and Apple TV under Apple Inc
