# According to reports, JD.com is hiring more staff in Hong Kong to expand its insurance business

> JD.com plans to expand its insurance business in Hong Kong, is applying for relevant insurance licenses, and is recruiting positions such as insurance consultants, compliance officers, and pre-sales support on multiple recruitment platforms, expecting to establish its own insurance team. In addition, JD.com is also hiring a Hong Kong Operations Director and a Financial Business Manager to be responsible for the operational management of the Securities and Futures Commission licenses 1 and 9, involving the expansion of securities trading and asset management businesses

According to sources cited by Ming Pao, JD-SW (09618.HK) (JD.US) plans to expand its insurance business in Hong Kong and is currently applying for relevant insurance licenses. In recent months, it has been recruiting insurance consultants, compliance officers, pre-sales support, and other positions on various recruitment platforms, and is expected to build its own insurance team. Additionally, the report indicates that JD is also hiring for positions such as Hong Kong Operations Director and Financial Business Manager, requiring candidates to be responsible for the operational management of SFC License 1 and 9, which is expected to involve the expansion of securities trading and asset management business
