# The last piece of the "pen-type injector" localization puzzle is made in Yichang, with a nail-sized gasket taking 4 years to develop successfully

In four years, 14 researchers continuously improved the rubber compounding formula and pioneered the vulcanization process for double-layer gaskets, achieving a perfect layer bonding between butyl rubber and polyisoprene rubber. The double-layer gaskets independently developed by HQTC can withstand up to 90 punctures, exceeding the technical parameters required by pharmaceutical companies by 50%, with product performance reaching an internationally leading level. In June of this year, HQTC's rubber component products successfully passed the review by the National Medical Products Administration's Drug Evaluation Center, becoming the first domestic pen-type component to activate the dual certificate registration number to A. Currently, the product has formed a batch supply, breaking the monopoly of foreign double-layer gasket products in the market
