According to the Jiangsu Provincial Geological Survey Institute, the exploration team spent four years deeply researching the strontium ore exploration in the Lishui Basin, resulting in the discovery of a large strontium deposit. After reviewing the mineral resource reserves, the inferred resource amount of this strontium ore is 545.55 thousand tons, with a mineral amount of 265.40 thousand tons and an average grade of 48.65%. Strontium, as an important rare metal, is widely used in special ceramic materials, magnetic alloy manufacturing, and other fields, playing a significant role in the country's industrial development and technological advancement. It is reported that the northeastern part of the Lishui Basin is an important gathering area for strontium mineral resources in Jiangsu Province, with four large and medium-sized strontium deposits already discovered. Meanwhile, the project team also discovered multiple concealed copper, lead-zinc, and pyrite ore bodies in the working area, and based on the summarized metallogenic laws, proposed a new idea for comprehensive prospecting of strontium, copper, and lead-zinc polymetallic resources
