# Thailand car production rises 4.77% y/y in September

> BANGKOK, Oct 22 (Reuters) - Car production in Thailand rose 4.77% in September from a year earlier to 128,104 units, the Federation of Thai Industries said on Wednesday.The increase followed a year-on-year drop of 6.11% in August.Thailand is Southeast Asia’s biggest auto production centre and an export base for some of the world’s top carmakers, including Toyota (7203.T) and Honda (7267.T.)

BANGKOK, Oct 22 (Reuters) - Car production in Thailand rose 4.77% in September from a year earlier to 128,104 units, the Federation of Thai Industries said on Wednesday.

The increase followed a year-on-year drop of 6.11% in August.

Thailand is Southeast Asia’s biggest auto production centre and an export base for some of the world’s top carmakers, including Toyota (7203.T) and Honda (7267.T.)
