# The world's first, Hydrogen Morning Technology releases the world's first offshore thousand-square PEM tank and hydrogen production system

On October 21, 2025, the launch ceremony for the full power testing of the world's first offshore thousand-kilowatt PEM electrolyzer and hydrogen production system was held at the Nantong testing base. This power-level offshore floating PEM hydrogen production system is the first of its kind globally, jointly independently developed by Shenergy's hydrogen energy company Shanghai Hydrogen Morning New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and its subsidiary Shanghai Hydrogen Shengtong Energy Technology Co., Ltd. This achievement not only marks a significant breakthrough in China's offshore green hydrogen equipment technology but also provides a new solution for the commercialization of hydrogen production from deep-sea wind power
