# Defu Technology: New investment of 1 billion yuan to expand high-end copper foil production capacity

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Defu Technology (301511.SZ) announced that the company recently signed a "Supplementary Contract for Investment Promotion Projects" with the Management Committee of Jiujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, agreeing to invest an additional 1 billion yuan to build research and production workshops for special copper foils such as carrier copper foil, buried resistance copper foil, and high-frequency high-speed copper foil, along with supporting equipment and facilities, which will be implemented within the company's holding subsidiary, Jiujiang Amber New Materials Co., Ltd. ("Amber New Materials").

The announcement shows that signing this contract is part of the company's strategy to expand high-end copper foil production capacity, achieve import substitution and industrial chain upgrading, and further enhance the company's competitiveness in the high-end copper foil market
