The glasses are equipped with lenses that automatically activate after parking, providing step-by-step navigation. Amazon hopes future versions will automatically detect package status, be aware of dogs in the yard, and recognize house numbers to enhance delivery safety and efficiency The world's largest online retailer Amazon (AMZN.US) announced on Wednesday that it is testing an augmented reality (AR) glasses in North America to help delivery drivers more accurately locate delivery points. Amazon stated that it is currently conducting trials with contract drivers. The smart delivery glasses are equipped with lenses that automatically activate when the driver parks, providing step-by-step navigation to guide the driver to the correct door. Amazon mentioned that drivers currently rely mainly on smartphone applications for navigation. The hope is that future versions will be able to automatically detect whether packages have been dropped off, be aware of dogs in the yard, or identify if the house number matches the package address to enhance delivery safety and efficiency ### Related Stocks - [AMZN.US - Amazon](https://longbridge.com/en/quote/AMZN.US.md) ## Related News & Research | Title | Description | URL | |-------|-------------|-----| | Amazon's Satellite Internet Comes to Maritime Customers Through Strategic Agreements | Amazon Leo, Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite internet network, has announced its first maritime reseller agreements wi | [Link](https://longbridge.com/en/news/275506625.md) | | Amazon-Backed (AMZN) X-Energy Secures First U.S. Nuclear Fuel License in 50 Years | X-Energy Reactor, backed by Amazon, has secured the first U.S. nuclear fuel license in over 50 years, allowing it to man | [Link](https://longbridge.com/en/news/275949662.md) | | Astera Labs Grants Amazon Rights to Acquire 3.26 Million Shares via Warrant | Astera Labs Inc. has granted Amazon the right to acquire up to 3.26 million shares of its common stock at $142.82 per sh | [Link](https://longbridge.com/en/news/275509420.md) | | Mn Services Vermogensbeheer B.V.
