# New York cocoa rose over 6.9%, coffee beans rose over 2%

> On Wednesday (October 22), in the New York market, ICE cocoa futures rose by 6.93% to reach USD 6,326 per ton, while London cocoa futures increased by 8.34%. At the same time, ICE Arabica coffee futures rose by 2.51%, coffee "C" futures increased by 2.22%, and Robusta coffee futures rose by 2.84%. The Minister of Agriculture of Ghana stated that they will seek to increase the local processing volume of cocoa to enhance the added value of export products. ICE raw sugar futures fell by 0.73%, ICE white sugar futures rose by 0.42%, and ICE cotton futures fell by 1.20%

On Wednesday (October 22), at the New York close, ICE raw sugar futures fell by 0.73%, while ICE white sugar futures rose by 0.42%.

ICE Arabica coffee futures increased by 2.51%, and coffee "C" futures rose by 2.22%. Robusta coffee futures climbed by 2.84%.

New York cocoa futures rose by 6.93%, closing at USD 6,326 per ton, continuing to rise throughout the day. London cocoa futures increased by 8.34%.

The Ghanaian Minister of Agriculture stated that Ghana will seek to significantly increase the local processing volume of cocoa to enhance the added value of export products.

ICE cotton futures fell by 1.20%
