# International Business Machines Up Over 7%, On Pace for Record High Close — Data Talk

> International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) shares are up 7.45% to $306.24, nearing a record high close. This marks the first new record since June 30, 2025, and the largest percent increase since January 30, 2025. IBM has gained 39.31% year-to-date, on track for its best year since 2009. The stock reached an intraday high of $307.65 and is the best performer in the DJIA today, contributing 130.56 points to the index.
