# Nissan Motor plans to import SUVs from the United States for sale in Japan

The Nikkei reported on Friday that Nissan is considering importing SUVs produced in the United States to the Japanese market to increase the capacity utilization of its American manufacturing plants.

The models Nissan is currently considering for import include the Murano and Pathfinder SUVs. Among them, the Murano has recently been redesigned and launched after nearly a decade in the U.S. market
