# Shandong: Accelerate the construction of 5G-A and integrated sensing base stations, actively layout 6G technology pilot projects and commercialization

The Shandong Provincial Communications Administration and other departments issued the "Special Planning for Low-altitude Information Infrastructure in Shandong Province." It proposes to strengthen the coverage of low-altitude communication networks. Fully utilize the existing public 5G network infrastructure, accelerate the construction of 5G-A and integrated sensing base stations, actively layout 6G technology pilot projects and commercial use, and comprehensively enhance low-altitude network coverage capabilities. Promote the deep integration of 5G-A with satellite communication and other technologies to build a highly reliable, low-latency, and widely covered integrated communication network for air, land, and sea, significantly enhancing system collaborative support capabilities. Adhere to a business and scenario-oriented approach, implement differentiated planning for low-altitude communication infrastructure, achieve continuous and seamless coverage of the airspace from 0 to 600 meters, effectively support the normalized operation of drones and collaborative identity recognition supervision, and form comprehensive communication assurance and real-time situational awareness capabilities. Follow the principles of advanced technology, economic feasibility, safety and reliability, and system scalability, and fully implement the development strategy of "communication first, dedicated network foundation, resource reuse."
