# ZHONGSHENGYAOYE: Subsidiary receives approval notice for the listing application of polyvinyl alcohol chemical raw materials

On October 27th, ZHONGSHENGYAOYE announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Guangdong Xianqiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., recently received the "Approval Notice for the Market Application of Chemical Raw Materials" for the raw material polyvinyl alcohol issued by the National Medical Products Administration. Polyvinyl alcohol is a high molecular polymer with hydrophilicity and film-forming properties. At suitable concentrations, it can function similarly to artificial tears, providing continuous lubrication and protection to the ocular surface. Polyvinyl alcohol eye drops can be used as a lubricant to prevent or treat symptoms of eye dryness, foreign body sensation, eye fatigue, and to improve dry eye symptoms
