# Pre-market news summary for US stocks

> U.S. stock index futures are all up, with Dow futures rising 0.51%, S&P 500 futures up 0.82%, and Nasdaq futures up 1.25%. The German DAX index fell 0.05%, while the UK FTSE 100 index rose 0.14%. WTI crude oil increased by 0.09%. The Federal Reserve is expected to continue cutting interest rates, but internal rifts may affect subsequent easing. The U.S. Treasury Secretary confirmed five candidates to succeed the Federal Reserve Chair. Toyota rose 2.4% in pre-market trading, while Tesla increased by 1.2%. NVIDIA rose over 2%

8.  Tesla is up 1.2% in pre-market trading, with the Model Y topping the European best-selling car list in September.
