# Global leader in vacuum pumps establishes presence in Optics Valley

Recently, the global leader in vacuum pumps and exhaust treatment solutions—Edwards has settled in Optics Valley and will build a semiconductor vacuum pump remanufacturing base in Wuhan Future Technology City, further improving the regional semiconductor industry chain. It is understood that Edwards has signed a factory leasing agreement with Optics Valley and will soon start construction, expected to be put into use in the second quarter of 2026. Currently, Edwards has deep cooperation with local companies in Optics Valley, such as Wuhan Xinxin and Tianma Microelectronics
