# UNICOMP: Wholly-owned subsidiary plans to acquire control of SSTI

UNICOMP announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Singapore Ruitai, intends to acquire a 66% stake in SCPLSEMICONDUCTOR TEST & INSPECTION PTE. LTD. for SGD 48.9 million. Upon completion of the transaction, the company will hold a 66% equity interest in SSTI, which will become a controlled subsidiary of the company and be included in the company's consolidated financial statements. The target company is one of the few in the world that possesses design and manufacturing technology for high-end semiconductor testing, diagnostics, and failure analysis equipment, having developed a range of core technologies including photon emission microscopy, laser timing probes, scanning optical microscopy, and thermal microscopy. Through this acquisition, the company further expands its business layout in the field of high-end semiconductor testing equipment
