# EFT SOLUTIONS issued a profit warning, expecting the net profit after tax for the interim period to decline to approximately HKD 2.3 million

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, EFT SOLUTIONS (08062) announced that the group expects to achieve a net profit after tax of approximately HKD 2.3 million for the six months ending September 30, 2025, while for the six months ending September 30, 2024, it expects to achieve a net profit after tax of approximately HKD 9.2 million.

The board of directors believes that the expected changes are mainly due to the combined effects of the following: (i) the revenue and gross profit from the sale of electronic payment terminals and related equipment, as well as the provision of system support and software solution services, have decreased due to economic downturn and intense competition; (ii) the recognition of losses from an associated company
