# Shangtai Tech: By the end of 2026, it will have an integrated production capacity of over 500,000 tons of artificial graphite anode materials

> Shangtai Tech announced during a conference call that it plans to achieve an integrated production capacity of over 500,000 tons of artificial graphite anode materials by the end of 2026. The company is constructing lithium battery anode material projects with annual production capacities of 50,000 tons and 200,000 tons in Malaysia and Shanxi Province, respectively, to improve production efficiency and intelligence level, with production expected to commence in the third quarter of 2026

Shangtai Tech stated in a conference call on October 28 that the company is currently advancing new production capacity, specifically a project in Malaysia to build an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons of lithium battery anode materials and an integrated project in Xiyang County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, with an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons of lithium-ion battery anode materials. These construction projects will be accelerated and implemented with high quality to address the current tight supply situation, while continuing to improve production efficiency and the levels of information technology, automation, and intelligence based on the existing foundation. According to the current actual status of the projects, it is expected that the company's aforementioned bases will enter the production phase in the third quarter of 2026, and by the end of 2026, the company will have an integrated production capacity of over 500,000 tons of artificial graphite anode materials
