# Sinomag: Products from the Vietnam base are in short supply, planning to add 10,000 tons of permanent magnet capacity

Sinomag recently stated in a conference call that the company continues to increase its investment in the Vietnam permanent magnet base, planning to add 10,000 tons of permanent magnet production capacity on top of the existing capacity. Permanent magnet production capacity overseas is relatively scarce, and supply is tightening, with multiple customers requesting an increase in the share from the Vietnam base, leading to a supply-demand imbalance for products from the Vietnam base. The Vietnam base will continue to be an important support point for the company's performance growth
