Overall same-store sales increased by 4%, with international markets growing by 6.5%, higher than the expected 4.4%. Popeyes experienced a same-store sales decline of 2.4%, making it the only brand to decline Restaurant Brands (QSR.US), the parent company of Burger King and Tim Hortons, announced that its net profit for the third quarter increased by 25% year-on-year to USD 315 million, with adjusted earnings per share of USD 1.03, slightly above the market expectation of USD 1; revenue rose by 6.9% to USD 2.45 billion, also exceeding expectations.
