Investors are looking forward to Abel's future speeches and letters According to The Wall Street Journal, Warren Buffett will no longer write the highly anticipated annual letter to shareholders of Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A.N, BRK.B.N), a responsibility that has been handed over to his successor, Vice Chairman Greg Abel. The 95-year-old billionaire will still release a Thanksgiving letter to his children and shareholders on November 10. Buffett plans to step down as CEO of Berkshire at the end of the year, handing over the company he has led for over sixty years to 63-year-old Vice Chairman Abel, although he will retain the position of Chairman. "For us investors, receiving a personal letter from Buffett every year is as exciting as unwrapping gifts on Christmas morning," said Christopher Davis of Hudson Value Partners.
