# 95 new occupational standards announced covering elderly care and childcare + digital economy

> The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security has announced 95 new national occupational standards, covering life service professions such as elderly care and infant care, as well as key areas like advanced manufacturing and the digital economy. These standards aim to meet the talent training needs in the livelihood sector and emerging industries, including new occupations such as drone swarm flight planners and intelligent manufacturing system operators

According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, a new organization in China has developed 95 national occupational standards, which have been officially announced to the public for feedback. National occupational standards are regulations based on occupational classifications that specify the knowledge and skills required for engaging in a particular profession. Among the 95 national occupational standards developed by this new organization, 51 are in the life service category, accounting for 53.7%, primarily aimed at meeting the training needs for urgently needed talents in areas such as elderly care and infant care. There are 37 standards in key areas such as advanced manufacturing and the digital economy, including 19 in advanced manufacturing, 6 in the digital economy, 3 in the green economy, and 9 in transportation and low-altitude economy, addressing the urgent talent training needs for industrial transformation and the development of emerging industries. Additionally, this batch of national occupational standards includes new professions and job types released in the past two years, such as drone swarm flight planners and intelligent manufacturing system operation and maintenance personnel
