# TECON: Expected to sell approximately 3.3 million heads for the whole year

On October 30th, TECON stated in a conference call that the company strictly implements national regulatory policies regarding capacity control. Over the past two years, the company's breeding sows have remained stable at around 140,000. According to the requirement to reduce breeding sows by 3%, approximately 4,000 sows need to be eliminated, and the company will further eliminate inefficient capacity as required.
