# Ministry of Finance: Taxpayers who do not sell standard gold through the exchange should pay value-added tax according to current regulations

> The Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation issued a notice regarding tax policies related to gold. It mentioned that taxpayers who do not sell standard gold through exchanges should pay value-added tax according to current regulations. For member units that purchase standard gold from the exchange for investment purposes and engage in physical delivery, the unit price, amount, and tax amount on the value-added tax special invoice shall be determined according to the following provisions
