> CFRA maintains a Buy opinion on Lear Corporation (LEA) shares, raising the 12-month target by $5 to $135. They adjusted EPS estimates for 2025 and 2026 downwards but introduced a new estimate for 2027. Despite concerns over a dip in safety content per vehicle, CFRA is optimistic about global vehicle production growth, which should benefit LEA. We increase our 12-month target by $5 from $130, based on a 2026 P/E of 9.2x, a justified discount to the stock's 10-year mean forward P/E of 12.4x. We lower our adjusted EPS estimates to $12.35 from $12.70 for 2025 and to $14.15 from $14.25 for 2026, and introduce 2027 at $15.70. Following an in-line Q3, we are reiterating our Buy opinion and raising our price target on LEA shares. While we have some concerns about the reported dip in safety content per vehicle in Europe and Africa (-5.5% in Q3), we think the dip will prove temporary, and we have turned more bullish on global vehicle production growth looking out over the next couple of years, which is a tailwind that should benefit LEA and other auto suppliers. Moreover, LEA's long history of steady share repurchases should continue to reduce its outstanding share count and help boost EPS over time. Incredibly, LEA has retired 58% of total outstanding shares since 2011, and its existing authorization represents an astounding 17% of its current market cap.
