# Last week, the speed at which Western investors "withdrew from gold" set a record

According to Bank of America data, last week the outflow of funds from U.S. gold funds reached $7.5 billion, setting a record for weekly outflows, while the inflow of funds in the previous four weeks was $59 billion.
