# Insurance funds "buy buy buy," holding A-share market value exceeding 650 billion yuan

Since the beginning of this year, the "buy-buy-buy" model of insurance capital equity investment has received much attention. With the disclosure of the third-quarter reports of A-share listed companies coming to an end, the details of insurance capital equity layout have emerged. According to Wind data statistics, excluding the holdings of Ping An Insurance Group and its subsidiaries in Ping An Bank, as well as the holdings of China Life Insurance Group in China Life, by the end of the third quarter, the number of shares held by insurance institutions in A-shares increased by 14% compared to the end of the second quarter, with a total holding market value exceeding 650 billion yuan
