# The Hang Seng Index opened down 0.97%, and the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 1.75%

SERES fell nearly 2% on its first day of listing on the Hong Kong stock market. SenseTime, KINGDEE INT'L, BYD ELECTRONIC, Tencent Music, and HUA HONG SEMI all fell over 3%.
