According to a report from the Economic Information Agency on the 5th, Inspur Group announced yesterday (the 4th) the decision of the Shandong Provincial Committee regarding personnel adjustments in the company. Zou Qingzhong will no longer serve as the Party Secretary and Chairman of Inspur Group, and will be succeeded by Liu Jiyong, the original Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of the company. Inspur Group is a well-established state-owned IT enterprise in China and a leading server manufacturer, with its main business involving computing equipment, software, cloud computing services, next-generation communications, big data, and several application scenarios. Its predecessor was Inspur Electronic Information Industry Group Co., Ltd., established in 1989, and it was restructured into Inspur Group in 2001 with the approval of the Shandong Provincial Economic and Trade Commission. The largest shareholder and actual controller is the Shandong Provincial State-owned Assets Investment Holding Company.
Public information shows that Liu Jiyong was born in 1974 and has a career history rooted in Shandong. He was transferred to Inspur Group in March 2022, serving as Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager. Zou Qingzhong served as the Party Secretary and Chairman of Inspur Group from December 2020 to November 2025. During his tenure, he promoted the implementation of the "three-wheel drive" strategy for hardware, software, and cloud computing services, and established subsidiaries such as Inspur Industrial Internet.
