# A-shares closing: ChiNext opened lower and rose more than 1%, with the smart grid concept collectively exploding

The market opened low and rose throughout the day, with the ChiNext Index up more than 1% in the afternoon. The power grid sector saw a collective surge, with nearly 20 stocks including SOJO and JINGUAN ELECTRIC hitting the daily limit. The Hainan sector continued to strengthen, with Haima Automobile and Haixia Co., Ltd. also hitting the daily limit. The photovoltaic and energy storage sectors rallied in the afternoon, with Canadian Solar and Tongrun Equipment hitting the daily limit. On the downside, the quantum technology concept declined, with Fujitsu and Keda Technology falling over 7%. More stocks rose than fell, with over 3,300 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets in the green, and today's trading volume reached 1.89 trillion yuan. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.23%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.37%, and the ChiNext Index rose 1.03%
