# YUM China: Lavazza opens its first coffee shop in Hong Kong

YUM China (09987.HK)(YUMC.US) announced that the first Lavazza coffee shop in Hong Kong officially opened yesterday (5th), located in the lobby of the Bank of East Asia Building at 10 Des Voeux Road Central, chosen for its unique position as an international financial, commercial, and cultural hub.

YUM China established a joint venture with the Lavazza Group in 2020, planning to explore development opportunities in China, and opened the brand's first overseas flagship coffee shop in Shanghai in April of the same year
