# November 6th Midday Review: The Sci-Tech 50 Index rose nearly 3% in half a day, with semiconductor stocks collectively strengthening

The market fluctuated and strengthened in the morning, with the Shanghai Composite Index rising nearly 1% during the session, and the Sci-Tech 50 Index increasing nearly 3%. Semiconductor chip stocks collectively strengthened, with stocks like Changguang Huaxin and Demingli hitting the daily limit. The phosphorus chemical sector surged, with QSY TECH. and YTH also reaching the daily limit. The non-ferrous sector rose collectively, with stocks like Minfa Aluminum and Nanshan Aluminum hitting the daily limit. On the downside, local stocks in Fujian fell, with Fujian Jinsen and Fulongma hitting the daily limit down. Individual stocks showed mixed performance, with a total transaction volume of 13.4 trillion in the morning session. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.88%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.39%, and the ChiNext Index rose 1.39%
