# The Half-Day Express reports that the Hang Seng Index rose by 425 points; the Hang Seng Tech Index rose by 117 points. CHINAHONGQIAO rose by over 8%. CHINAHONGQIAO, XINYI GLASS, MTR CORPORATION, AIA, and CLP Power reached new highs

The Hang Seng Index closed at 26,361 points, up 425 points or 1.6%. The Hang Seng Tech Index reported 5,903 points, up 117 points or 2.0%. The National Index rose 151 points or 1.7%, closing at 9,315 points.

Performance of active heavyweight stocks:

Alibaba (09988.HK) closed at HKD 163.2, up 3%;

Ping An (02318.HK) closed at HKD 57.75, up 2.7%;

Tencent (00700.HK) closed at HKD 644, up 2.4%;

Meituan (03690.HK) closed at HKD 103.4, up 2.2%;

Hong Kong Stock Exchange (00388.HK) closed at HKD 432.8, up 2.2%;

Xiaomi Group (01810.HK) closed at HKD 43.48, up 0.4%;

Movements in Hang Seng Index and National Index constituent stocks:

CHINAHONGQIAO (01378.HK) closed at HKD 32, up 8.5%, hitting a new high;

SMIC (00981.HK) closed at HKD 75.25, up 5%;

XINYI SOLAR (00968.HK) closed at HKD 3.74, up 4.8%;

China Life (02628.HK) closed at HKD 25.68, up 4%;

Zijin Mining (02899.HK) closed at HKD 31.94, up 3.9%;

XINYI GLASS (00868.HK) closed at HKD 9.65, up 2.7%, hitting a new high;

MTR CORPORATION (00066.HK) closed at HKD 29.98, up 2.2%, hitting a new high;
