# Microsoft Publisher will cease operations

The classic desktop publishing software Microsoft Publisher, which has a history of 35 years, is about to exit the stage of history. Microsoft has officially announced through its support page that the software will stop all support services in October 2026, at which point Publisher will no longer be included in the Microsoft 365 services, and users will also be unable to enable related features
