CHINA EDU GROUP (00839.HK) issued a profit warning, expecting net profit for the fiscal year ending in August to be between RMB 440 million and RMB 600 million (including expected impairment of goodwill and intangible assets), compared to RMB 502 million recorded in the previous year. According to preliminary assessments, the group expects to recognize a one-time, non-cash impairment loss between RMB 1.62 billion and RMB 1.7 billion for the fiscal year 2025
