# International Energy Agency: It is expected that by 2035, global nuclear power installed capacity will increase by at least one-third

The International Energy Agency released the "World Energy Outlook 2025" on the 12th, exploring future energy development trends. In the scenarios outlined in the report, the growth rate of electricity demand far exceeds the overall energy consumption, with explosive growth in electricity demand driven by data centers and artificial intelligence primarily concentrated in developed economies and China; renewable energy demand, represented by solar photovoltaics, is growing the fastest, and China will maintain its position as the world's largest renewable energy market; nuclear energy is expected to recover, with global nuclear power installed capacity projected to increase by at least one-third by 2035; in the short term, global oil and gas supply is generally sufficient, but geopolitical risks remain
