# Guangdong: Increase direct financing support for the silver economy

The "Implementation Plan for Promoting High-Quality Development of Pension Finance in Guangdong Province" has been issued. The plan proposes to increase direct financing support for the silver economy. It guides insurance funds to provide financial support for pension service operators and elderly meal service institutions through various forms such as equity, bonds, funds, asset-backed plans, and insurance asset management products. It encourages securities institutions to assist eligible silver economy enterprises and pharmaceutical health enterprises in going public or listing for financing. It supports eligible listed silver economy enterprises in Guangdong to carry out refinancing and mergers and acquisitions through methods such as issuing shares. It aims to make good use of Guangdong Province's regional equity market to provide services for non-public issuance and transfer of securities for non-listed silver economy enterprises.
