Diversified strategies seek to navigate through cycles, insurance funds increase investment in real estate
Recently, there is a new case of insurance capital buying real estate. Lujiazui Guotai Life Insurance announced that it has signed a property transfer agreement for the Qiantan Hui N5 building with Qian'an Investment, and the purchased property will be used as the company's headquarters office. Since the beginning of this year, insurance capital has been accelerating its entry into the real estate sector. Industry insiders believe that real estate projects are usually large in scale and long in duration, providing relatively stable cash flow, which aligns well with the asset allocation needs of insurance capital. Moreover, real estate has a low correlation with stocks and bonds, helping insurance capital optimize its investment portfolio. (China Securities Journal)
