# AAC TECH plans to complete the acquisition of Dispelix in the first half of next year

AAC TECH (02018.HK) announced that it has recently signed a final agreement to acquire shares and other equity securities of the AR diffractive waveguide display technology company Dispelix Oy. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 202 year, at which point Dispelix will become a subsidiary of AAC TECH.

The company stated that this acquisition is based on the long-term strategic partnership established through years of close cooperation between Dispelix and AAC TECH. It is anticipated that AAC TECH's global layout and close cooperation with many leading smart device companies will further promote technology implementation and market expansion. In the future, AAC TECH will continue to expand in the broader field of diffractive optics with Dispelix, consolidating its global market leadership
