# The first humanoid robot stock UBTECH ROBOTICS placed 3.109 billion HKD, with 75% of the placement funds planned for mergers and acquisitions to integrate the industry chain

According to Zhitong Finance APP, on November 25, humanoid robot first stock UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880) announced that on November 25, 2025 (before the trading session of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange), it entered into a placement agreement with the placement agent to issue 31.468 million new H shares through the placement agent, with a placement price of HKD 98.80 per H share, representing a discount of approximately 11.39% compared to the closing price of HKD 111.50 per H share reported on November 24, 2025, on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The total amount of funds raised from the placement and the net proceeds are estimated to be approximately HKD 3.109 billion and HKD 3.056 billion, respectively.

The funds from this placement will be used to invest in or acquire upstream or downstream target enterprises with potential in the group's business value chain, or to integrate with related industries or establish joint ventures, accounting for approximately 75% of the net proceeds from the placement. UBTECH ROBOTICS stated that this placement aims to integrate the upstream and downstream supply chains, consolidate and strengthen the group's leading position in the humanoid robot industry chain, thereby enhancing the company's strategic layout in industrial manufacturing application scenarios, seizing the opportunities for humanoid robots to land in industrial manufacturing application scenarios, and improving the company's core competitiveness.

It is worth noting that UBTECH ROBOTICS has recently received a series of positive news. On November 21, UBTECH ROBOTICS won the bid for the humanoid robot data collection and testing center and artificial intelligence science and technology education demonstration project in Fangchenggang City, Guangxi, with a bid amount of 264 million yuan, primarily featuring the latest self-replacing industrial humanoid robot Walker S2, with orders expected to be delivered in December.

In mid-November, UBTECH ROBOTICS' industrial humanoid robot Walker S2 began mass production and delivery, with hundreds of Walker S2 units deployed in frontline applications across key areas such as automotive manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing, smart logistics, and embodied intelligent data centers. As of now, the total order amount for UBTECH ROBOTICS' Walker series humanoid robots in 2025 has reached 1.1 billion yuan, continuously leading the global commercialization process of humanoid robots.

In addition, on November 24, the quarterly adjustment of the MSCI China Index took effect, and UBTECH ROBOTICS was successfully included in the index, proving that the company has not only met international standards in terms of market capitalization and liquidity but also represents the recognition of the company's commercial value and development potential by the capital market. On that day, the trading volume in the Hong Kong stock market reached HKD 3.1 billion, with HKD 1.6 billion traded in just 8 minutes after the market closed, confirming that international capital is very optimistic about the future of humanoid robot first stock UBTECH ROBOTICS
